Online ADHD Testing & Evaluation
A real diagnostic evaluation with a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner — not a checklist and an algorithm. Licensed in 23 states, with our rates published before you book.
Is online ADHD testing legitimate?
It depends entirely on who is doing it. A questionnaire scored by software is not a diagnosis. A clinical evaluation conducted by a licensed psychiatric provider is — and telehealth does not change that.
ADHD is diagnosed through clinical interview, developmental history, symptom assessment across settings, and ruling out the conditions that mimic it. All of that can be done well over video. What cannot be done well is any of it in five minutes.
What your evaluation actually involves
Your evaluation is conducted by Shumeka Hill, PMHNP-BC — a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.
- A structured clinical interview, typically 60–90 minutes
- Developmental and school history, because ADHD begins in childhood
- Validated symptom rating scales
- Screening for the conditions that look like ADHD — anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep disorders and thyroid problems all mimic it
- A clear diagnostic answer, and an honest one if the answer is no
- If ADHD is diagnosed, a treatment plan discussed with you rather than handed to you
Why the differential matters more than the diagnosis
Untreated anxiety looks like ADHD. So does chronic sleep deprivation, depression, and the aftermath of trauma. A provider who only screens for ADHD will only ever find ADHD.
Because your evaluation is done by a psychiatric provider rather than a general telehealth service, the conditions that mimic ADHD — and the ones that commonly accompany it — get assessed in the same appointment.
What it costs
We are a self-pay practice. We do not bill insurance, which means no prior authorizations, no coverage denials, and no surprise bill months later. You know the price before you book.
We publish our rates because “call for pricing” is a barrier, and barriers are what keep people from getting care.

Frequently asked questions
- How long does an ADHD evaluation take?
- Most evaluations take 60–90 minutes, sometimes across two appointments. Anything substantially shorter than that is not a diagnostic evaluation.
- Can ADHD be diagnosed over video?
- Yes. ADHD is diagnosed through clinical interview, history and validated rating scales, all of which work well over video. There is no blood test or brain scan that diagnoses ADHD in routine practice.
- Do I need a referral?
- No. You can book an evaluation directly.
- Will I be prescribed medication?
- Only if it is clinically appropriate after evaluation, and only after we discuss the options together. Medication is one treatment for ADHD, not the only one, and no ethical provider can promise a prescription before meeting you.
- Can you evaluate my teenager?
- Yes. Your provider also holds pediatric acute care certification. A parent or guardian participates in the evaluation.
- What if I don't have ADHD?
- Then you get a real answer and a direction. Finding out that anxiety, sleep or depression is driving your symptoms is a useful result, not a wasted appointment — and it is treatable here.
Medication is prescribed only where clinically appropriate following an evaluation. No prescription is guaranteed, and this page does not promise any specific medication or outcome. You must be physically located in a state where your provider is licensed at the time of your visit.
