Yes — we're licensed in Colorado

Getting care in Colorado
Colorado's mountain and eastern plains communities face significant provider shortages despite relatively better access along the Front Range.
We see patients across Colorado by video — including Denver, Colorado Springs, Aurora, Fort Collins, Boulder and Pueblo, and every community in between. Because care is delivered remotely, where you live in Colorado makes no difference to whether you can be seen.
Is online ADHD testing legitimate?
It depends entirely on who is doing it. A questionnaire scored by software is not a diagnosis. A clinical evaluation conducted by a licensed psychiatric provider is — and telehealth does not change that.
ADHD is diagnosed through clinical interview, developmental history, symptom assessment across settings, and ruling out the conditions that mimic it. All of that can be done well over video. What cannot be done well is any of it in five minutes.
What your evaluation actually involves
Your evaluation is conducted by Shumeka Hill, PMHNP-BC — a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.
- A structured clinical interview, typically 60–90 minutes
- Developmental and school history, because ADHD begins in childhood
- Validated symptom rating scales
- Screening for the conditions that look like ADHD — anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep disorders and thyroid problems all mimic it
- A clear diagnostic answer, and an honest one if the answer is no
- If ADHD is diagnosed, a treatment plan discussed with you rather than handed to you

- How long does an ADHD evaluation take?
- Most evaluations take 60–90 minutes, sometimes across two appointments. Anything substantially shorter than that is not a diagnostic evaluation.

- Do I need a referral?
- No. You can book an evaluation directly.
- Will I be prescribed medication?
- Only if it is clinically appropriate after evaluation, and only after we discuss the options together. Medication is one treatment for ADHD, not the only one, and no ethical provider can promise a prescription before meeting you.
Medication is prescribed only where clinically appropriate following an evaluation. No prescription is guaranteed. You must be physically located in Colorado at the time of your visit.
