Telehealth care in Georgia

Psychiatry, ADHD care, weight management, recovery and everyday medical care — from one board-certified provider licensed in Georgia. By video, with no drive and no waiting room.

Yes — we can treat you in Georgia

Shumeka Hill holds an active Georgia license. You'll need to be physically located in Georgia during your appointment — a requirement that applies to every telehealth provider, not just this one.

Georgia requires nurse practitioners to work under a collaborative agreement with a physician. Care is delivered in accordance with that requirement, and it does not change your access to appointments or how treatment is managed day to day.

Access to care in Georgia

Georgia is where our practice is based. Most of the state's psychiatric providers are concentrated in metro Atlanta, leaving large parts of south and middle Georgia with very limited access.

We see patients across the state — Atlanta, Augusta, Columbus, Savannah, Athens, Macon and Alpharetta included, along with every community in between. Because care is delivered remotely, where you live in Georgia has no bearing on whether you can be seen.

What we treat in Georgia

One provider across all of it, so nothing falls between two specialists.

Care in Georgia: common questions

Are you licensed to treat patients in Georgia?
Yes. Shumeka Hill, DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, CPNP-AC, LCDC II, holds an active license in Georgia, along with 22 other states. You need to be physically located in Georgia at the time of your appointment.
Do I need to travel to an office in Georgia?
No. Every appointment happens by video from wherever you are in Georgia. There is no office to drive to, no waiting room, and no parking.
Do you take insurance in Georgia?
No — we are a self-pay practice and do not bill insurance in any state. That means no prior authorizations and no coverage denials delaying your care, and rates are confirmed before you book. We also do not accept Medicare or Medicaid patients. If you have commercial insurance with out-of-network benefits, we can give you an itemized receipt (a superbill) with the codes an insurer asks for, which you submit yourself. We do not submit claims and cannot say whether your plan will pay any part of it.
What can you treat in Georgia?
ADHD evaluation and treatment, psychotherapy, medical weight loss, Suboxone and addiction care, menopause and hormone therapy, women's and men's health, primary care, and dermatology — all from one provider.
How soon can I be seen?
Most new patients are scheduled within the same week. No referral is required.
