Medical Weight Loss, Managed by a Provider

Weight care from a certified provider who manages the whole picture — including what these medications do to mood, sleep and appetite regulation.

Weight is not a willpower problem

Appetite, satiety and metabolism are regulated by biology, and that biology can be treated. Framing weight as a character flaw is both wrong and a reason people delay care for years.

Treatment here starts with an evaluation — labs, medical history, medications you already take, and what has been tried before — rather than a subscription and a shipment.

What treatment can involve

  • Evaluation of the medical drivers of weight, including thyroid, insulin resistance and PCOS
  • GLP-1 medications such as semaglutide, where medically appropriate
  • Review of existing medications, several of which cause weight gain
  • Management of side effects, which is usually what decides whether treatment lasts
  • Nutrition and activity guidance that accounts for your actual life
  • Ongoing monitoring rather than a prescription and silence

Weight loss affects more than weight

GLP-1 medications affect more than appetite. Patients report changes in mood, energy and sleep, and people with a history of depression or anxiety reasonably want to know what to watch for.

Your provider is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, so if something shifts in your mood during treatment, that is one conversation here rather than a referral somewhere else.

What it costs

We are a self-pay practice. We do not bill insurance, which means no prior authorizations, no coverage denials, and no surprise bill months later. You know the price before you book.

We publish our rates because “call for pricing” is a barrier, and barriers are what keep people from getting care.

Frequently asked questions

Am I eligible for GLP-1 medication?
Eligibility is a clinical decision based on BMI, medical history, other conditions and current medications. It is determined after evaluation, not before, and not everyone is a candidate.
Do you prescribe brand-name or compounded medication?
We will tell you exactly which you are being prescribed and why. The FDA has issued warnings regarding compounded GLP-1 products, and you are entitled to that information before you start.
Can semaglutide affect my mood?
Patients do report changes in mood, energy and sleep. Because your provider is also a psychiatric provider, this is monitored as part of your care rather than treated as somebody else's problem.
How much weight will I lose?
No honest provider will give you a number. Results vary substantially between people, and anyone promising a specific outcome is selling rather than treating.
What happens if I stop the medication?
Weight regain is common after stopping, which is why treatment planning includes what happens long term rather than only what happens now.

Medication is prescribed only where clinically appropriate following an evaluation. No prescription is guaranteed, and this page does not promise any specific medication or outcome. You must be physically located in a state where your provider is licensed at the time of your visit.
