Service
Online Addiction Counseling
Counseling with a licensed chemical dependency counselor who is also a board-certified psychiatric provider — whether or not medication is part of your plan.
Counseling that isn't separated from the rest of your care
Medication addresses physical dependency. Counseling addresses what the substance was doing for you — the anxiety it quieted, the sleep it forced, the memories it dulled. Both matter, and the research is consistent that together they outperform either alone.
You do not need to be on medication to be seen here, and you do not need to have decided anything yet.
What we work on
- Alcohol and substance use, at whatever stage you are at
- The anxiety, depression or trauma underneath it
- Relapse prevention that plans for setbacks instead of pretending they won't happen
- Family and relationship strain
- Coordination with medication, when medication is part of your plan
What it costs
We are a self-pay practice. We do not bill insurance, which means no prior authorizations, no coverage denials, and no surprise bill months later. You know the price before you book.
We publish our rates because “call for pricing” is a barrier, and barriers are what keep people from getting care.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I have to take medication to get counseling here?
- No. Counseling is available on its own, and plenty of people start there.
- Is counseling confidential?
- Yes, with substance use records carrying additional protection under federal law beyond standard HIPAA.
- What if I'm not sure I want to stop?
- That is a normal place to start and a reasonable thing to talk through. Ambivalence is not a barrier to being seen.
