Yes — we can treat you in Alabama
Shumeka Hill holds an active Alabama license. You'll need to be physically located in Alabama during your appointment — a requirement that applies to every telehealth provider, not just this one.
Alabama requires nurse practitioners to work under a collaborative agreement with a physician. Care is delivered in accordance with that requirement, and it does not change your access to appointments or how treatment is managed day to day.
Access to care in Alabama
Alabama ranks among the states with the fewest psychiatric providers per capita, and a large share of its counties are federally designated mental health shortage areas.
We see patients across the state — Birmingham, Montgomery, Huntsville, Mobile, Tuscaloosa and Auburn included, along with every community in between. Because care is delivered remotely, where you live in Alabama has no bearing on whether you can be seen.
