Telehealth care in New Mexico

Psychiatry, ADHD care, weight management, recovery and everyday medical care — from one board-certified provider licensed in New Mexico. By video, with no drive and no waiting room.

Yes — we can treat you in New Mexico

Shumeka Hill holds an active New Mexico license. You'll need to be physically located in New Mexico during your appointment — a requirement that applies to every telehealth provider, not just this one.

New Mexico grants nurse practitioners full practice authority, so your provider evaluates, diagnoses and prescribes directly — there is no second clinician to route through and no added delay.

Access to care in New Mexico

New Mexico has a substantial psychiatric workforce gap, with federal data indicating the state needs dozens of additional psychiatrists to serve residents living in designated shortage areas. Rural counties are hit hardest.

We see patients across the state — Albuquerque, Las Cruces, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, Roswell and Farmington included, along with every community in between. Because care is delivered remotely, where you live in New Mexico has no bearing on whether you can be seen.

What we treat in New Mexico

One provider across all of it, so nothing falls between two specialists.

Care in New Mexico: common questions

Are you licensed to treat patients in New Mexico?
Yes. Shumeka Hill, DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, CPNP-AC, LCDC II, holds an active license in New Mexico, along with 22 other states. You need to be physically located in New Mexico at the time of your appointment.
Do I need to travel to an office in New Mexico?
No. Every appointment happens by video from wherever you are in New Mexico. There is no office to drive to, no waiting room, and no parking.
Do you take insurance in New Mexico?
No — we are a self-pay practice and do not bill insurance in any state. That means no prior authorizations and no coverage denials delaying your care, and rates are confirmed before you book. We also do not accept Medicare or Medicaid patients. If you have commercial insurance with out-of-network benefits, we can give you an itemized receipt (a superbill) with the codes an insurer asks for, which you submit yourself. We do not submit claims and cannot say whether your plan will pay any part of it.
What can you treat in New Mexico?
ADHD evaluation and treatment, psychotherapy, medical weight loss, Suboxone and addiction care, menopause and hormone therapy, women's and men's health, primary care, and dermatology — all from one provider.
How soon can I be seen?
Most new patients are scheduled within the same week. No referral is required.
